Small groups, online theory, and sustainable cars. We mix what you need – without it getting boring.
At Ascot Driving School, you will experience small group teaching that adapts to your pace – from theory and online access to driving lessons and skid training. We make it safe, fun, and manageable, so you can feel both ready to drive and confident.
You get access to online theory for up to 120 days, so you can practice whenever it suits you. In addition, there is theory teaching in smaller groups where there is time for questions and explanations. Signs, rules, and road safety are covered in language that is easy to understand.
In the theory room, we teach in small groups so you have a good opportunity to ask questions and have things explained. When you go out to drive, it is always one-on-one with the driving instructor, so all the time behind the wheel is focused on you and your needs.
You complete the mandatory practical exercises such as maneuvers on a closed course, slippery road, and driving on the road. We start with the simple maneuvers and gradually build up, so you become confident with both the car and traffic.
From the first theory lesson to the final exam, the focus is on ensuring you gain the necessary knowledge and experience behind the wheel. The driving instructor guides you throughout the process and adjusts the pace to your needs, so you have a safe and good driving experience.
No questions are too small – or too big. Contact us, and we will find the answers together.
All the essentials about how the teaching is conducted – from theory to driving and tests.
You get behind the wheel quickly, but only after the initial theory lessons and a safe introduction on the maneuvering course. This way, you have a grasp of the basics before we drive out into traffic.
We run small groups in theory, so there is time for questions and good explanations. This makes the material easier to understand and more manageable.
You get access to online material for an extended period, so you can practice whenever it suits you. The platform contains explanations and tests that resemble the real theory exam.
Yes. Driving lessons are one-on-one in the car with your driving instructor. This provides calm, personal feedback, and a pace that suits you.
A maneuvering track is a closed area where you safely learn the basics of driving. The slippery track trains braking and control on slippery surfaces. Both take place under safe conditions before we increase the difficulty on the road.
When you have completed the mandatory lessons and can drive safely without assistance. You and your driving instructor assess this together – we will only send you off when you are ready.
